What is the difference between a Project Charter and a project plan?
A Project Charter authorises the project and answers why, what and who: purpose and justification, measurable objectives, high-level scope, budget, stakeholders and the project manager’s authority. A project plan answers how and when. In PMBOK that is the Project Management Plan with the scope, schedule and cost baselines; in PRINCE2 the project plan sits inside the PID, with a stage plan for each stage. Rule of thumb: the charter goes to the sponsor or board for approval, the plan is what the team steers by.
Which methodology is used: PRINCE2, PMBOK or Agile?
You choose it when you start a dossier: PRINCE2, PMBOK or Agile (Scrum). From then on Charlie works only with that method’s documents and terms, in the interview and in the document. A PRINCE2 Project Brief talks about the Project Board, the Executive and tolerances, a PMBOK charter about the sponsor and baselines, an Agile charter about the Product Owner and the Definition of Done. If your organisation uses a hybrid, choose the method closest to how your board works; the terms of your own template stay where they fit.
Can I use my own corporate template?
Yes. Upload your template as PDF, Word or Markdown. The heading structure is detected automatically and the generated document follows that hierarchy, numbering and terminology exactly instead of the default outline. The interview questions are also steered towards filling your sections.
How long is my data kept?
Project data — uploads, the conversation and the generated document — is automatically and permanently deleted 30 days after the last activity. You can also erase a project or your entire account yourself at any time. Payment records are kept separately for tax purposes and contain no project content, so store your download locally.
Does the AI invent missing information?
No, that is explicitly ruled out. Where information is missing you are asked for it during the interview, or given a concrete proposal to confirm or reject. Anything still unconfirmed at the end appears in the document as a visible "TO BE COMPLETED" marker stating why it is needed — not as plausible-sounding filler.
What does it cost and is there a subscription?
There is no subscription. The discovery interview, the gap analysis and the watermarked preview are free. The first document costs € 75 one-off, a follow-up document in the same route € 50, and a whole PRINCE2 or PMBOK route of three documents up front € 150. Each document includes one revision: you can have it laid out once more. If you need more adjustments, a revision session costs € 35 for two more. All prices include VAT.
Which documents does Charlie write for each method?
PRINCE2: the Project Brief, the PID with the project plan inside it, and the Stage Plan for the next stage. PMBOK: the Project Charter, the Project Management Plan with its subsidiary plans, and the scope (with WBS), schedule and cost baselines. Agile (Scrum): the Agile Charter with product vision and working agreements, and the Roadmap with release plan. Each document answers one question without overlapping the others, and each next document carries the approved one before it as its baseline. You can also start at the second document and upload your own first one.
Why a separate route per method?
Because a certified project manager thinks in the terms of their own method, and so does their board. PRINCE2 has no Project Charter and PMBOK has no PID; a document that mixes the two is recognised by no one as their own. So each route follows the products, roles and words of one method only, and the document check also judges an existing document against the method it was written in.
Can I have an existing document checked?
Yes. Upload an existing project document, such as a Project Brief, PID, Stage Plan, Project Charter, Project Management Plan or project plan, and Charlie reviews it against its own method the way an experienced board member would: what is missing, what is incomplete and what is wrong, in red and amber, with a concrete recommendation for each point. The free check reviews the first 25% of your document, up to four pages, and reports only on what it can actually see — so anything later in the document is never reported as missing. The full review for € 4.99 reads the whole document and also finds contradictions between chapters, such as a tolerance that does not match the budget. There is one free check per email address.
Does the document contain diagrams?
Yes. The project organisation is drawn as an organisation chart, the milestones as a timeline and the risks as a probability/impact matrix. In the PDF these are vector graphics; in Word they are embedded images. Every diagram sits alongside its table rather than replacing it, so the data stays copyable, searchable and readable by a screen reader.
Is my project information confidential?
Yes. The content is used to produce your document or review and nothing else. Your documents are never used to train AI models: the text is processed by Anthropic through their commercial API, which by default does not use such data for training. Anthropic deletes the text within 30 days; only if their systems flag a request as misuse do they keep it longer, for up to two years. We delete your project data 30 days after your last activity, or straight away if you do so yourself. Documents are never publicly accessible: through the site only you can open them, after signing in with a single-use link by email, and all traffic is encrypted. We only look inside your project if you explicitly ask us to, and that is a rare exception. Do bear in mind that Anthropic processes the text in the United States, and that project briefs often contain your client's confidential information: check that you are permitted to share it with an external service, and anonymise third-party names and contact details where you can.
Which languages can I work in?
Dutch and English. The language is detected from your input and the entire document, including professional terminology, is written in that language. Standard framework names such as PRINCE2, PMBOK, Scrum and RACI are kept in their conventional form.
